Installing TVteka plugin on Smart TV
At the moment our service supports devices with webOS version 1.0 and 2.0.
In order to install TVteka plug-in on an LG Smart TV, you need an LG user account. You can register it in two ways:
Registering an LG account through the TV
Step 1
After turning on the TV press the «Home» button on the remote control - the main screen of Smart TV will appear. Use your remote to select the «Sign in» icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
Step 2
The LG account login screen will open. If you already have an LG account, enter your username and password and click the «Sign In» button. Otherwise, click «Sign Up», register, and then log in to your account.
Step 3
The LG registration screen will open. Use the remote control to enter your email address and create a password (be sure to remember or write down the entered data).
Step 4
After entering your email address and password, click «Check validity» next to the email address. If the email address is correct, a dialog box will appear with the message «Email address accepted». Close the window by clicking the «Close» button, then click the «OK» button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5
If all the data is entered correctly, you will see a dialog box asking you to confirm the correctness of the entered email address. Open your e-mail on a computer, open the letter from LG, click «Complete registration».
Step 6
After confirming your email address, you can log in to your newly created LG account on the TV. Click on the «Close» button in the previous dialog, and then the LG account login dialog will open. If you have already closed the previous dialog, repeat the first step of this instruction. In the dialog that opens, enter your email address and password from your LG account and click the «Login» button.
Depending on your TV model, after clicking the «Login» button, you may see a dialog asking you to enter additional data. Entering additional data is optional - you can click the «Cancel» button, after which the login to your LG account will be successfully completed.
Installing TVteka plugin.
Step 1
To run the plug-in on your TV, you will need a USB Flash Drive.
Step 2
Insert the USB Flash Drive into the TV's USB port labeled «USB APPS» (Some TVs allow you to insert the USB Flash Drive containing the application into any USB port).
Press the «My APPS» button on the TV remote control. On the screen that opens, select «My APPS» and click «OK».
Step 3
On the screen that opens with a list of applications, select the USB «USB» icon and press «OK». If the «USB» icon is missing, check the correct directory structure on the USB Flash Drive (point 2 of this manual). Also try using a different USB port on the TV for the USB Flash Drive.
Step 4
On the new screen select the «TVTEKA» application and press «OK» on the remote control to launch it.
When you will open the TVTEKA application for the firs time, you will see a page with a code that you need to enter on the «Devices» page in your account. We recommend to open this page from your phone or computer.
After that you enter the code, the image on the TV will be updated and you will see the main menu and the channel list.
